I am part of the DFG-funded project "The Impact of Obesity, Cardiovascular Diseases and Diabetes on Labor Market Participation and Productivity" and am currently working on questions pertaining to frailty, cardiometabolic health, and application of genomics within the field of health economics. In the past, I have worked and published in peer-reviewed journals on various topics in public health such as diabetes, undernutrition and anemia, nutritional interventions, and adolescent maternity.
