SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

I am interested in decision-making, specifically, how cognitive decision-making is evolutionarily preserved or varies between different species. I hope to further my understanding in how adaptive decision-making tasks—such as foraging, reward and risk processing—are represented at a neural level, using animal models. My previous projects and research experience have been a foundational introduction into this field. I aim to advance my computational skills for delving into neural models for decision-making, as well as gain experience with molecular and neuroimaging techniques in neuroscience.
