PROFESSUR FÜR ENTWICKLUNGSÖKONOMIK UND GLOBALE POLITISCHE ÖKONOMIE
untersucht politikrelevante Fragestellungen in der Entwicklungsökonomik und internationalen politischen Ökonomie, wobei vorwiegend quantitative Methoden zum Einsatz kommen. Im Mittelpunkt stehen Fragen der internationalen Entwicklungs-, Handels- und Investitionspolitik, insbesondere mit Blick auf Länder mit niedrigem und mittlerem Einkommen. Zentrale Untersuchungsgegenstände sind die Wirksamkeit internationaler Entwicklungszusammenarbeit und staatlicher Interventionen und Politikmaßnahmen.
