Equal opportunity is an important topic in agricultural sciences and is particularly important to us as a faculty.
The equal opportunity team has a wide range of tasks. We are represented on all faculty committees in an consultative capacity. We assist with professorial appointment procedures in order to prevent discriminatory behavior when selecting new members of the faculty. Furthermore, we try to reduce the discrepancy between the percentage of women and men with individual initiatives, especially for professorships. We are not only campaigning against gender-specific discrimination, but against all forms of discrimination. If you feel that you are being treated unequally in a situation at the faculty or observe discriminatory behavior, please contact a representative of the equal opportunity team.
