Proseminar on Family and Inheritance Law

In the winter semester 2024/ 2025, Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Volker Lipp is offering a proseminar on Family and Inheritance Law. The proseminar is aimed at all interested parties who would like to complete a preparatory course, all students on BA/MA/LLM degree programs and Erasmus students. The proseminar is thematically a course within the framework of specialization area 3 (Civil Law and civil administration of justice). However, participation is open to all students from the 4th semester onwards.

Time and place:
The appointment for the introduction and distribution of topics will take place on 22th October 2024 at 2 p.m. c.t. in the court laboratory (Verfügungsgebäude room 0.112). Participation in this meeting is mandatory for all participants. After completion of the written paper, the proseminar will take place in weekly sessions during the lecture period, in which the participants will give their presentations.

Further information:
All participants will have the opportunity to practise writing seminar papers and research papers and giving oral presentations. Each participant will prepare a written paper of 12 to 15 pages and give an oral presentation of about 10 to 15 minutes. There will be an individual discussion of the written paper and the presentation.
