Details

All content is designed to relate to practice with a good theoretical and research basis: Case studies give you the opportunity to work out independent solutions. In term papers and your final thesis, you work on current, practice-relevant issues. And during the project seminar you will solve real challenges of our project partners - examples are Volkswagen, PricewaterhouseCoopers or Zalando.

The elective area gives you the opportunity to get to know different subject areas in order to discover new interests. Specialisations allow you to develop your own profile and stand out from the crowd. In addition, we offer you the opportunity to participate in our research topics such as Digital Health, Smart Mobility, Digital Twins or Artificial Intelligence Applications.

We prepare you optimally for the rapidly changing professional field of business informatics by giving you both practical and cutting-edge content as well as timeless methods and concepts for managing digital change, such as designing platforms. You will not only learn the theoretical concepts and work on current research questions, but also put your knowledge into practice.

Sufficient German language skills are required. Good language skills in English are recommended.

Graduates of the master's programme can expect to find attractive and demanding managerial positions in the IT branch, which are characterized by holding considerable scope for decision-making and high responsibility.

Potential employers include IT firms as well as enterprises in all other sectors. Graduates may go on to work in management (e.g. as an area manager) or in staff departments of larger companies. A good entry position would be as an assistant to the executive board. Get to know the different professional fields of our graduates in the alumni portraits.
