Would you like to know how colleagues in your field work in Belgium or Estonia? A partner university offers an exchange opportunity on a topic related to your field of work? The following activities are eligible

  • Job Shadowing
  • Language Course
  • Workshops
The activity should preferably take place at one of our Erasmus+ partner universities in a programme country. Please check the quality of the programme. The training must be relevant to your professional development and promote personal development. Mobility at EU institutions and passive participation in a conference are excluded from funding.

Duration of mobility & Funding

    A staff mobility trip lasts at least 2 days (excluding travel) and can be funded for up to 2 weeks, depending on the availability of Erasmus+ funding.

Subsistence costs according to country category:

  • Group 1: €180 per day
    Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden
  • Group 2: €160 per day
    Czech Republic, Cyprus, Estonia, Greece, Latvia, Malta, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain
  • Group 3: €140 per day
    Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Republic of Macedonia, Turkey

Please note, that the one-off flat rate is for return trip. Depening on available funding, 1 to 2 additional travel days can be financed. The prerequisite is that these are directly adjacent to the training/workshop/job shadowing (e.g. arrival on Sunday, start of program on Monday). If the mobility takes place with a low-emission means of transport (no airplane!), an additional top-up for Green Travel can be granted. Informationen on Green Travel can be found here.

  • 100-499km: 211€ (Green Travel: 285€)
  • 500-1999km: 309€ (Green Travel: 417€)
  • 2000-2999km: 395€ (Green Travel: 535€)
  • 3000-3999km: 580€ (Green Travel: 785€)
  • 4000-7999km: 1.188€
  • 8000 an more: 1735€

Please note:

In some cases, the flat rates may not cover the actual costs. Participants should therefore calculate their expenses in advance and check whether they can cover the additional costs themselves or whether the institution is willing to cover them. Selected candidates are obliged to ensure that they have adequate insurance cover (health, liability and accident insurance).

  • Training Agreement: The template "Training Agreement" will be sent by e-mail depending on a successful application (notification by e-mail).
  • EU-Survey: Shortly after the mobility, the participant receives an e-mail notification by the EU Beneficiary Module to submit an EU Survey (mandatory online report)
