Research
I am a PhD student in Statistics at the University of Göttingen, working on Bayesian transformation models for survival and duration data. My research focuses on developing flexible methods that can accurately capture complex time-to-event outcomes, especially in the presence of censored observations. I am particularly interested in penalized transformation models (PTMs) and their performance in comparison to traditional approaches like the AFT models. My work combines theory, computation using Liesel, and simulation studies to explore model behavior and improve inference.
