This course is designed for students with advanced academic writing skills who have already written term papers and/or attended a course at the International Writing Lab. Additionally, participants should have experience with academic argumentation.

During the workshop, we will focus on the elements and structures of argumentative texts, analyze texts and formats that present complex arguments, and discuss their structures. Students are encouraged to bring texts from their own field to further develop and revise them. A key part of the workshop is reflecting on one's own academic writing and argumentation, which will be practiced throughout the course.

Some of the texts and materials we will analyze are in English, so knowledge of the English language is required.
