Invitation to the online discussion: “Off-label use: areas of tension in liability and health insurance law”

The use of medications "off-label", outside of their approved indications, has long been a common topic in medical practice – but it raises a multitude of legal questions. What liability risks arise when medications are used outside their approved indications? And how do health insurance companies respond to off-label therapies when it comes to reimbursement?

These and many other questions will be addressed and thoroughly discussed by us, the Center for Medical Law at the University of Göttingen, in our online discussion on January 29, 2025, at 7:00 PM CET. Together with experts from the fields of law and healthcare, we will explore the legal grey areas surrounding off-label use.
