Mona Jahangiri has studied Philosophy at the University of Bonn and Neuroscience at the University of Cologne. In 2021, she completed her doctoral dissertation at the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg, culminating in the publication of her monograph, Das Konzept der Seele bei Mullā Hādī Sabziwārī. From 2018 to 2025, she held teaching positions at the Universities of Cologne, Bonn, Goethe University Frankfurt, and LMU Munich. Since 2020, she has been a regular lecturer at LMU Munich, teaching in the fields of Philosophy, Philosophy of Science, and Religious Studies.She has taught a wide range of topics, including consciousness, near-death experiences, religious studies, cognitive studies, philosophy of religion, theology, and the intersection of science and religion, among others.
