Competence Centre for Landscape Resilience Officially Opened – Focus on Interdisciplinary Research and International Collaboration
On 22 May 2025, the new Competence Centre for Landscape Resilience at the University of Göttingen was officially inaugurated with a ceremonial opening event. Funded by the Eva Mayr-Stihl Foundation, the centre is dedicated to interdisciplinary research on the resilience of landscapes to ecological, climatic, and societal change. In addition to a junior research group and an innovation pool, the centre places a strong emphasis on international collaboration and innovative research approaches. Researchers and students are invited to participate in current calls and actively contribute to developing forward-looking solutions.
