SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS AND GOALS

My previous research experience made me particularly interested in RNA biology, gene regulation, and alternative splicing. I find it fascinating how changes in these processes can affect cell behavior and contribute to diseases such as cancer. In the future, I would like to better understand the molecular mechanisms behind these changes and their role in development of disease. At the same time, I am also interested to explore other areas of molecular biology and work with different biological systems and approaches during the program.
