Jana Uhmeier
Jana Uhmeier has been a research associate at the Institute for Diversity Research and is involved in the EU project "SMARTUP" since October 2024. Previously, Jana Uhmeier studied Social Work (at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences) for a bachelor's degree and Gender Studies (at the University of Göttingen) for a master's degree. The master's thesis focused on the topic of "Social Work and Reproductive Justice". In the thesis, Jana Uhmeier used a qualitative research design to examine the relevance of Reproductive Justice approaches for Social Work. Until August 2024, Jana Uhmeier worked as a student assistant in the DFG-funded project " Selber schuld oder? Eine vergleichende, stadtsoziologische Erklärung von Wohnungslosigkeit im Wechselspiel individueller, institutioneller und struktureller Faktoren“.
