Software catalog

As part of our e-exam service, we offer the option of conducting exams digitally in specially equipped exam rooms. To ensure that exams run smoothly, it is necessary to coordinate the required software in advance.

Important deadlines and dates

Request new software or versions

If you require new software or new versions of existing programs for your exam scenario, please submit your request by April 1 at the latest. This also applies to new R packages and QGIS plug-ins.

Upon receipt of your request, we will review the technical and organizational feasibility and provide you with prompt feedback.

Alternative: Virtual machine

We would like to point out that you also have the option of providing software that cannot be installed directly on our e-exam computers via a virtual machine.

Schedule test dates

After the semester begins on April 15, we ask that you schedule an appointment with us to test your exam scenario. This will give you the assurance that everything is working as planned.

• For new versions of existing software, a one-time test is usually sufficient.
• For new software or a VM scenario, please also arrange a test appointment.

If the test shows that the new software or VM scenario is not yet working as intended, please let us know. We will review the necessary adjustments and implement them as soon as technically possible. We then recommend scheduling another test date.

After May 15: Final update

On May 15, we will publish the final software catalog for the current semester. Please note that no further changes can be made after this date.
