Spring arrived
Spring is here and the early bloomers in our garden are in full splendour! The warm days attract many visitors who want to enjoy the diversity and beauty of our flora.
However, we would like to point out an important warning: The leaves of wild garlic can easily be mistaken for the green leaves of poisonous plants such as snowdrops, marsh mallow and autumn crocus. These plants contain toxic substances that can cause serious health problems if eaten. For this reason, it is forbidden to remove plants or harvest leaves in the Old Botanical Garden.
Enjoy your visit to the Old Botanic Garden and stay safe!

Spring
We have started to bring our potted plants back outside.
Firstly, the plants that won't be seriously affected by light frosts are brought outside.
More sensitive plants have to stay indoors until after the Ice Saints' days.
