Conditions of participation

The proposed research topic should relate to the research content of the participating subjects. Interdisciplinary topics are welcome.

Teams consisting of students from all undergraduate programs and faculty members at Georg August University of Göttingen who form a research team, jointly develop a project idea, and present it in an exposé are eligible to participate. If possible, the project proposal should be written by the students with the support of their faculty members.

participation constellation:

  • 4-8 bachelor's degree students
  • one to two tutors
  • up to one-third of master's students

  • The supervisors accompany and advise students in all phases of the research process. In addition, they anchor the achievements of students acquired within FoLL in the study program, make the project visible within the subject and to the public, and participate in university didactic consultations, collegial exchanges, and workshops on research-oriented teaching.
    Master's students are co-researchers on the one hand, and on the other hand, as advanced peers, they can support their fellow students in their work processes in consultation with the teachers and even take on initial small supervisory tasks.
